Ben Update

Ben saw the ENT yesterday. His nose is pretty messed up! His bone is broken, his septum is dislocated and his turbinate is torn. He can't breathe at all out of his nose and it is still very swollen.
The Doctor asked Ben if his nose was straight before, to which Ben replied..."I was pretty...my nose was perfect...can ya make me pretty again?!?" The Doctor got a kick out of that! I told Ben he could have a nose like Michael Jackson if he wanted...Ben said he didn't think Michael Jackson HAD a nose...true enough!
Ben will have surgery on Tuesday and cannot play baseball for several weeks. He is not too happy about that. He dressed out this afternoon and went with the team to cheer them on. He's a good sport!
Grammy and PawPaw are flying out Sunday to stay with us for 2 weeks and help out with the girls. It sure will be great to see them! Ben said the one good thing about being injured so badly is that he will get to see Grammy and PawPaw. I assured him he does not need to break anything else...they will come just to visit!
